The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE) offers exchanges of staff members involved in research and innovation to develop sustainable collaborative projects and transfer of knowledge. The RISE funding scheme is bottom-up, meaning there are no topics predefined by the European Commission. RISE projects are carried out within the framework of a consortium involving 3 or more partners.

On occasion of the 7th edition of the Italian Forum on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioeconomy IFIB taking place in Rome, Italy from 5-6 October 2017, the Enterprise Europe Network is organising the Biotech and Bioeconomy Partnering Event IFIB 2017. The matchmaking event offers the chance to meet potential partners in pre-arranged face-to-face meetings and to establish new cooperations in research, technology transfer and business.
The objective of this hands-on event is to prepare ground for consortia building: to give opportunity to future proposers to discuss concrete cooperation possibilities, to present their expertise and learn from each other. Experienced R&I officers will help participants to steer the group discussions.
The event is organized by RTD liaison offices from EU member states and Horizon 2020 associated countries. Registration is compulsory.
Please note that this event is directed specifically towards potential coordinators of Societal Challenge 6 projects and that the number of participants is limited.

The Participant Portal (PP) provides a new service for finding collaboration partners for your future projects when applying for EU grants. It allows searching profiles of organisations that have previously received EU funding via the PP. The functionalities of the currently available beta version will be extended in the coming months.
In its first version, the service allows searching for organisations and displaying their profiles.
The profiles comprise:
• Organisation name, city, country, Participant Identification Code (PIC)
• Organisation type (Higher or secondary education establishment, SME, etc.)
• The list of EU projects in which the organisation is involved
• An overview of its main collaboration links with other organisations
• Keywords related to its projects, indicating its fields of expertise
