Based on the South African Research Chair Initiative (SARChI), this instrument addresses established researchers in the fields of Migration and Critical Diversity Studies that are employed by a Swiss University, a Swiss University of Applied Sciences or a Swiss Research Institution at the time of their application.
The Visiting Research Fellowship covers salary and mobility costs as well as running expenses.
The Swiss – South African Joint Research Programme offers an initial funding of 100’000 CHF per fellowship. Following project years have to be covered by complementary funding.
