Swiss Transitional Measures for Horizon 2020
The result of the public vote on immigration in 2014 has caused some uncertainties in the Swiss RDI Community. A transitional solution was found that allows researchers from Switzerland to participate to almost all calls under Horizon 2020.
The clear intention of the Federal Council is the full association of Switzerland to Horizon 2020 from 2017 onward. We expect a ratification of the Croatia Protocol in due time and hence the full association of Switzerland to Horizon 2020 from 1 January 2017 onward. Therefore when you submit your proposal in the «Participant Portal» make sure that in the section «Budget» the requested budget for the Swiss partner is indicated in the column «Requested EU Contribution €».
