New calls for proposals with a volume of over 10 billion Euros

The European Commission has published new calls for proposals July 10th 2012. With a volume of over 10 billion Euros, it is the largest funding package under the EU’s Seventh Framework Programme (2007–2013).

The Cooperation programme is sub-divided into ten distinct thematic priorities:

–       Health

–       Food, Agriculture and Fisheries and Biotechnology

–       Information and Communication Technologies

–       Nanosciences, Nanotechnologies, Materials and New Production Technologies

–       Energy

–       Environment (including Climate Change)

–       Transport (including Aeronautics)

–       Socio-Economic Sciences and the Humanities

–       Space

–       Security

In the People programme (Marie Curie Actions), the calls for the following funding schemes have been published:

–       Marie Curie Initial Training Networks (ITN)

–       Marie Curie International Research Staff Exchange Scheme (IRSES)

–       Marie Curie Co-Funding of regional, national and international programmes (COFUND)

In the Capacities programme, a broad range of different calls have been published.

In the Ideas programme (European Research Council / ERC), both the

–       ERC Advanced Grants as well as the

–       ERC Starting Grants have been published.
