Latsis Symposium ETH Zurich on Personalized Medicine

UZH_ETH27 – 29 June 2016, Zurich ETH main building

The Latsis Symposium of ETH Zurich is a prestigious yearly event, and selection of the theme for the symposium is made on the basis of a competitive application process. The Fondation Latsis Internationale, a non-profit, public benefit foundation established in 1975, has been supporting the annual Latsis Symposium at ETH Zurich since 1986. The theme of the symposium must relate to an area in which research is being conducted at ETH Zurich and which is of interest to the general public.

The Latsis Symposium ETH Zurich 2016 on personalized medicine is jointly organized by the Competence Center Personalized Medicine UZH/ETH Zurich and the IT’IS Foundation.

The three-day program consists of themed oral sessions with invited lectures, keynote addresses and panel discussions, followed by poster sessions and networking for young scientists. Authors of posters will be selected for flash oral presentations, from among which will be selected student award winners. The symposium closes with a public event.
