The Congressi Stefano Franscini is ETH Zurich’s conference platform located at Monte Verità, a beautiful hilltop overlooking Ascona and Lago Maggiore, in Southern Switzerland. Since 1989, the CSF gives professors and senior researchers working at a Swiss research institution the oppor-tunity to organize a subsidized international conference, an ETH doctoral school or a workshop at the Monte Verità congress centre.
This two-day event is co-organised by the European Commission and the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union and will be held virtually on 1 and 2 June 2021.

This course introduces students to the economic complexity paradigm. It shows how concepts of economic complexity can inform our understanding of economic development and beyond. It will provide students with hands-on experience in the application of network analysis and data visualization tools to complex systems. The course is organized by the ZHAW School of Management and Law (SML) in collaboration with the University of Lausanne.
