Horizon 2020 – Webinar on the Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE) of the MSCA

Interested in receiving information on the MSCA-RISE-2018 call and basics of proposal writing?
 
The Marie Skłodowska-Curie (MSCA) Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE) offers exchanges of staff members involved in research and innovation to develop sustainable collaborative projects and transfer of knowledge.

The MSCA-RISE-2018 call for proposals is open from 22 November 2017 with a deadline on 21 March 2018. 

International networks of research organisations from both academic and non-academic sector can apply. Exchanges of researchers, technical, administrative and managerial staff of any nationality and at all career levels can be funded.

Webinars on Innovative Medicines Initiative 2 Calls 11 and 12

In preparation for the launch of IMI 2 – Calls 11 and 12, in July 2017 IMI will hold a series of webinars on Call 11 and Call 12.

The next IMI 2 calls are expected to be launched in July 2017 (to be confirmed). On this occasion two calls will be launched simultaneously.
– Call 11 – on the exploitation of IMI project results;
– Call 12 – with specific topics.

IMI 2 is organising a series of webinars to inform on the upcoming calls. All webinars on the Call topics will feature a presentation by the EFPIA topic coordinator and time for questions and answers. The webinars represent an excellent opportunity to learn more about the Call topics, interact directly with the topic coordinators, and get in touch with potential project partners.

The European Union is faced with big disparities in research excellence and innovation performance between the different Member States and Associated countries. Therefore, the specific objective „Spreading Excellence and Widening Participation (SEWP)“ was introduced in Horizon 2020.
In a nutshell, it is about measures to increase cooperation and knowledge transfer between the Widening Countries* and other Member States (MS) and Associated Countries (AC, eg Switzerland).

This webinar will provide an overview on SEWP funding opportunities and will in particular highlight the upcoming call WIDESPREAD-05-2017 which has the objective to strengthen a field of research (no thematic restrictions) between a widening country and any two internationally-leading research institutions in other MS or ACs.

Thematic Webinar: Calls in the Horizon 2020 Energy Work Programme

Webinar on Clinical Studies in Horizon 2020 Proposals on 15 December 2015

horizon2020This webinar will provide you with the information you need to have in order to submit a proposal containing clinical studies.

The webinar taking place on 15 December 2015 from 13:30-15:00 is organised by the Health NCP Network in collaboration with the European Commission and ECRIN, the European Clinical Research Infrastructure Network.

A Horizon 2020 Health proposal including clinical studies has to fulfil several requirements, such as filling in the clinical trial proposal template and being aware of several issues specific to these studies, how to involve clinical partners, how to set up the budget, and what regulatory and safety issues need to be considered at proposal stage, amongst others. As Health NCP or proposal applicant you may have questions and may also be interested in finding out about the type of support you can get at this stage from ECRIN, the European Clinical Research Infrastructure Network.
