Switzerland’s State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI) and The Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation (tekes) are announcing a collaborative Promotional Call for project ideas of R&D performing SMEs on the topic of Life Sciences with a special focus on Bio and Medical Technologies: Drug Development, Drug Delivery, Bio Materials, Medical Device and Diagnostics.

Eurostars-2 Cut-off 4 results: Quality means funding

Logo_EUROSTARSThe synchronisation of national funding for the cut-off 4 of the Eurostars-2 programme has recently been concluded.

Of the 333 applications submitted for funding, 113 were positively evaluated and all 113 were selected to be funded by the programme, representing a success rate for projects above quality threshold of 100%. The overall success rate is 34%.

The Eurostars-2 programme is aimed at supporting research and development performing small and medium-sized enterprises. Applications can be submitted at any time but are evaluated twice a year. The next cut-off dates are 18 February and 15 September, 2016. Weiterlesen

New EUREKA and Eurostars websites launched

EurekaEUREKA relaunched its two public websites, www.eurekanetwork.org  for its overall activities and www.eurostars-eureka.eu for the Eurostars Programme. These online platforms are now faster and easier to navigate, and offer a fresh look for EUREKA’s main outreach tool.  The new websites were developed in response to ongoing needs of the research and development industry. They are centered on the needs of potential applicants for support and funding through EUREKA Network, Cluster and Umbrella projects and the Eurostars Programme.

EU Forschungsprogramm Eurostars: Die Schweiz ist dabei

Der Bundesrat hat ein Abkommen zur Teilnahme der Schweiz am Forschungs- und Entwicklungsprogramm Eurostars genehmigt. Ziel von Eurostars ist es, die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit der europäischen Wirtschaft zu verbessern. Von der Teilnahme an Eurostars profitieren Schweizer KMU, die grenzüberschreitende Forschung und Entwicklung betreiben und auf diese Weise neue Märkte erschliessen wollen und die mindestens 10% ihres Umsatzes in F&E investieren.
