On 03.02.2021 Horizon Europe was launched by the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the EU, together with the European Commission.
This ambitious research and innovation programme presents itself with a budget of €95.5 billion and a set of modern instruments. It has been co-created with European citizens to meet their expectations and needs. It is not yet confirmed when the final work programmes and calls for proposals in Horizon Europe can be published. However, the first Horizon Europe applications should be actively processed by April 2021 at the latest.
