The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) invite researchers from Switzerland and developing countries planning to submit a research partnership project in the new SDC-SNSF research programme, the Swiss Programme for Research on Global Issues for Development (r4d.ch) to participate in a learning event on instruments to enhance re-sult- and development-oriented research.

Where: SNSF Plenaryhall 21, Wildhainweg 21, 3000 Berne
Objectives
Participants are familiarized with the instrument of a result framework and result-oriented reporting. They are informed about the importance of pathways to impact, application, and communication to stakeholders.
Background Information
As indicated in the call documents in addition to standard research related information applicants are requested to present potential impacts of the expected results for the solution of global problems in de-veloping countries, the benefits for the poor population groups, and the potential application of the re-sults in policy and practice.
