If you have identified a Horizon 2020 call-topic of interest and plan to get involved with writing a proposal to be submitted, or have submitted a stage-1 proposal and hopefully will be invited to submit a full proposal, this event is for you! You will get a thorough overview over the structure of a Horizon 2020 proposal, learn how proposals are evaluated and get the opportunity to immerse yourself in selected aspects that most applicants struggle with.

Horizon 2020 Health and Food Applicants Training

14-12-2017, 09:30–17:00 in Zürich

The full day event on 14 December 2017 addresses applicants of Health and Food Horizon 2020 proposals. You will receive targeted information and advice to support you in the roles of task or work package leader, coordinator or partner in a project and learn what you need to consider when planning and writing the proposal.

The programme of the day includes a confirmed talk by the European Commission, a presentation on the legal, financial and administrative issues, tips on how to write a proposal and a panel discussion with evaluators and coordinators, where you can ask all your burning questions.

ERC Starting Grant Applicant Training

28-08-2017, 13:15–16:00 in Bern

During this training, you will get information and tips on the different parts of the application. Participants are expected to work on a submission to the open Starting Grant call, plan to submit with a host institution in Switzerland and be familiar with the information contained in the work programme and information for applicants.

Horizon 2020 – Applicants Training for Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships

This event is a one-day training for researchers planning to apply to the 2017 Marie-Curie Individual Fellowship Call. You will work with an example proposal, get insight into the evaluation process and have the possibility to learn from a successful applicant.

The European Commission is running a flexible pilot under Horizon 2020, called the Open Research Data Pilot (ORD pilot). The ORD pilot aims to improve and maximise access to research data generated by Horizon 2020 projects.
