This event, organised by Euresearch with several speakers from the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation will give you the opportunity to learn more about the topics open for submission in Horizon 2020.

In January 2019, several international funding Programmes moved from the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI) to Innosuisse: Eurostars 2, Active and Assisted Living (AAL), Electronic Components and Systems for European Leadership (ECSEL), EUREKA and the European Research Area (ERA)-Nets scheme.
Andreas Gut, head of International Programmes at Innosuisse, will explain us reasons and implications of this transition, and will give us a “refresher” on their programmes and activities.
This event will provide information on the funding opportunities provided by the European Framework Programme for research and innovation « Horizon 2020 » in the domains of health, life sciences and pharmaceutical sciences.
In particular, the event will focus on the Horizon 2020 – Health, demographic change and wellbeing and on the IMI 2 – Innovative Medicines Initiatives. In addition, synthetic information on the US National Institute of Health (NIH) will be also provided.
