The School of Management and Law and the Institute of Sustainable Development as part of the School of Engineering had a meeting at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) with a delegation of the Department of Economic Development of the Chinese Province of Jiangsu. The Chinese delegation came to Switzerland to promote their province and specially the Sino-Swiss Zhenjiang Ecological Industrial Park (SSZEIP) as an attractive opportunity for Swiss Foreign Direct Investments and to discuss opportunities for cooperation. In the discussion a future collaboration with the ZHAW in SSZEIP by creating a Training –Research and Development Center was addressed. Cleantech and Sustainable Development would be important fields of study. As a result of the meeting, the participants expressed their interest to increase the cooperation for training programs in Switzerland and China by mean of the ZHAW.
