The research group Service Engineering (SE) works on cloud computing and service systems.
The group offers its competences in the following areas:
- Cloud-Computing: Infrastructure and platform services.
- Service Prototyping and Engineering
Our goal is to transfer results from applied research into product innovation. We therefore collaborate with many Swiss and also international companies of all sizes. Furthermore, anything that we create and learn in applied research is transferred to our education track. How both transfers are achieved is documented in in The Service Engineering Research Approach.
The group is organised into two labs, the ICCLab (Cloud Computing Lab) and the SPLab (Service Prototyping Lab)
