So this is it already, our final day in the city of Singapore.
Before we fly back to Switzerland, or before some of us continue our journey through Southeast Asia, we had two more exciting visits ahead, EDBI and UBS.
We began the day with our visit to EDBI. Upon arriving at the building, we were welcomed with a stunning view of the city from EDBI’s offices.

We then attended a very engaging presentation by Fadhli Adesta, Senior Manager in Value Creation and Communications. He introduced us to EDBI, explained their mission and outlined how they operate. As always, the presentation was not only informative but also interactive, we had the opportunity to ask many questions and deepen our understanding of how EDBI supports innovative companies. Their role goes far beyond investment, they actively accompany companies through their growth journey and help bring innovation to Singapore.

After the presentation, we headed to our final group lunch. At an italian restaurant, we began to reacquaint ourselves with European food while sharing memories, reflection and insights from the week.

Finally, we visited UBS in their brand-new building. We received another in-depth and insightful presentation by their CIO team aswell as swiss UBS employee Filipe Taxiera about how they operate in Singapore. As a special treat, we were then given a tour of the impressive new premises, something that truly fascinated the entire group.

And with that, our study trip to Singapore comes to an end.
We saw and learned so much about this remarkable and inspiring city.
