Last day of our China-Trip – the sky was crying! At it place, it must be mentioned that we were very lucky with the weather during the last 2.5 weeks. Today, we visited Kühne & Nagel, the leading logistic company around the world. After an interesting presentation about the business, Mr. Looschen invited us for a 3 hours boat cruise through the huge harbour of Hong Kong.
We were served delicious food while we enjoyed the spectacular views from the sea. Later on, Tom from Hutchison, explained us how the harbour is logistically handled. Everything is automated and there is a very sophisticated system in place.
Later in the evening, we enjoyed a marvellous dinner. We first went to a fish-market were we could pick the seafood we wanted. A few minutes later, it was
served to us in a local restaurant. Without Mr Rock Wong, we would never ever had such a delicious dinner. Thank you very much for joining us!China. What was the highlight of this trip? There were many and to everyone something else was most impressive. But for all of us, the picture of China has changed a lot. In Europe, a lot is written and spoken about China – we have seen it!
It’s now time to say goodbye. Some of us are going home soon, other a staying for a few more weeks in China.
Last but not least, we want to thank the OK-Team and especially Mr. Rüttimann for the China Trip 2008. It was an amazing journey which we will never forget.
