{"id":1883,"date":"2014-10-01T13:56:07","date_gmt":"2014-10-01T11:56:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.zhaw.ch\/mobine\/?p=1883"},"modified":"2015-02-03T17:16:23","modified_gmt":"2015-02-03T16:16:23","slug":"bicycle-car-and-public-transport-card-ownership-by-age-group","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.zhaw.ch\/mobine\/bicycle-car-and-public-transport-card-ownership-by-age-group\/","title":{"rendered":"Bicycle, car and public transport card ownership by age group"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Analysing the connection between demographic and mobility issues for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.metpex.eu\/\">METPEX project<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/ine.zhaw.ch\/en\/engineering\/institutes-centres\/institute-of-sustainable-development.html\">INE<\/a> has studied, among <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.zhaw.ch\/mobine\/2014\/05\/21\/travel-time-and-distance-in-different-age-groups\/\">other aspects, <\/a>the access to car, bicycle and public transport card of different age groups in Switzerland.<\/p>\n<p>As the figure below reveals, car and bicycle ownership decrease while age increases, though the difference by age group is more remarkable in the case of bicycles.
