The competitiveness of the different transport sectors was studied to get an insight into the current situation of the industry and to discuss challenges and opportunities related to upcoming developments.<\/p>\n<p>The SWOT-Analysis had a focus on transport equipments and services, political issues, transport demand and the general conditions of the transport industry. The Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) of the transport industry were identified based on previous RACE2050 work packages and <a title=\"RACE2050 deliverables\" href=\"http:\/\/en-education.tau.ac.il\/race2050\/results\" target=\"_blank\">deliverables<\/a>.
