International Conference on Human Computer Interaction<\/a> in Heraklion, Kreta, statt. Teilgenommen haben rund 1500 Vertreter aus Wissenschaft und Praxis aus der ganzen Welt. Das Konferenzprogramm bestand aus einer Keynote Speech, verschiedenen Workshops und Poster und Paper Sessions sowie einer Ausstellung zu diversen Themen rund um User Experience und User Interaction. Mit dabei waren auch Bettina Gehring und Adrian W\u00fcthrich vom <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imm.zhaw.ch\" title=\"IMM\" target=\"_blank\">Institut f\u00fcr Marketing Management (IMM)<\/a>, die ein Projekt vorgestellt haben, welches verschiedene Methoden zur Erfassung der Kundensicht kombiniert. <\/p>\n<p>Das IMM hat im Rahmen eines KTI-Projektes innerhalb der letzten zwei Jahre das Kundenverhalten sowie die Nutzerfreundlichkeit einer \u201eVideo on Demand\u201c (VoD) Applikation auf SmartTVs analysiert. Auf Basis dieser App k\u00f6nnen Filme \u00fcber das Internet auf dem Fernsehger\u00e4t geschaut werden. Ziel des Projekts war die Verbesserung der Bedienerfreundlichkeit und damit verbunden die Erh\u00f6hung der Nutzerzahlen. Zu diesem Zweck wurden verschiedene quantitative und qualitative Methoden wie Kundenumfragen, Nutzerpfad-Analysen bis hin zu Usability Tests mit Eye-Tracking kombiniert, um ein m\u00f6glichst genaues Bild des Endnutzers zu erhalten und damit die Grundlage f\u00fcr eine Optimierung der \u201aUser Experience\u2018 zu schaffen.<\/p>\n<p>Die Methodenvielfalt des Projektes ist an der Konferenz auf reges Interesse gestossen. Bettina Gehring, Leiterin des Projekts sagt hierzu: \u201eWir als Marketing-Experten waren absolute Exoten an dieser Konferenz, doch mit unserem vielf\u00e4ltigen Forschungsprojekt gelang es uns, spannende Gespr\u00e4che zu f\u00fchren mit Experten aus anderen Gebieten zum Thema User Experience\u201c.<br \/>\nIn der Tat waren einige international t\u00e4tige Grossunternehmen wie SAP, IBM oder LG sowie Experten der US Armee oder Bosch vertreten.
