Doch wie geht es weiter? In einem fr\u00fcheren Beitrag <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.zhaw.ch\/marketingmanagement\/internet-of-things-whats-next-smart-dust\/\">\u00abInternet of Things: What\u2019s Next? Smart Dust!\u00bb<\/a> stand die radikale Miniaturisierung von IoT als eine Entwicklungsrichtung im Fokus. Dieser Beitrag \u00abDemystifying the Industrial Metaverse\u00bb behandelt die n\u00e4chste Welle digitaler Innovation \u2013 die Integration von weiteren Technologien, wie Artificial Intelligence, Extended Reality und Blockchain, hin zu einem Industrial Metaverse [1].<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-science-fiction-inspirierte-visionen\"><strong>Science Fiction-inspirierte Visionen<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abEs war Montagmorgen, und Laura stand in ihrem B\u00fcro und starrte auf den holografischen Bildschirm. Was sich einst wie Science Fiction anf\u00fchlte &#8211; digitale Fabriken, Echtzeitsimulationen und globale virtuelle Teams &#8211; war nun ihre t\u00e4gliche Realit\u00e4t. Als Betriebsleiterin eines grossen Elektrofahrzeugherstellers war Laura im Begriff, ein Millionenproblem zu l\u00f6sen, ohne ihren Schreibtisch zu verlassen. Im Industrial Metaverse verschmolzen die physische und die digitale Welt m\u00fchelos miteinander. Sie hielt ein virtuelles Abbild &#8211; einen digitalen Zwilling &#8211; ihrer gesamten Fabrik in der Hand. Doch auf dem Boden der Realit\u00e4t gibt es noch viele offene Fragen: Welche Rolle spielt das Industrial Metaverse \u00fcberhaupt f\u00fcr die Schweizer MEM-Industrie? Welches Verst\u00e4ndnis herrscht dar\u00fcber, welche Chancen bieten sich und welche H\u00fcrden m\u00fcssen \u00fcberwunden werden? Wie sieht die Wertsch\u00f6pfung im Detail aus? Das untersuchen Forscher:innen des ZHAW Product Management Center im Rahmen des SNF Spark-Projekts \u00abTechnology Affordances of the Industrial Metaverse\u00bb. Mit realisierten Vorl\u00e4ufern wie Extended Reality-Anwendungen sind die Erwartungen der befragten Industrievertreter dabei enorm: Chancen werden \u00fcber den gesamten Lebenszyklus und in praktisch allen Gesch\u00e4ftst\u00e4tigkeiten gesehen. Neben klassischer Effizienzsteigerung (z.B. generatives Design) erfolgt die Wertsch\u00f6pfung auch durch Zusatzeinnahmen (z.B. Non-fungible Tokens NFT). Aber auch die Kunden sollen profitieren, u.a. durch immersive Showrooms f\u00fcr erkl\u00e4rungsbed\u00fcrftige Produkte. Spannend dabei: Durch den generative Charakter des Industrial Metaverse k\u00f6nnen alle Anwendungspotentiale heute noch gar nicht abgesehen werden.
