{"id":12132,"date":"2018-07-30T08:25:54","date_gmt":"2018-07-30T06:25:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.zhaw.ch\/icclab\/?p=12132"},"modified":"2018-07-30T08:25:54","modified_gmt":"2018-07-30T06:25:54","slug":"elastest-passes-european-commissions-review-successfully","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.zhaw.ch\/icclab\/elastest-passes-european-commissions-review-successfully\/","title":{"rendered":"ElasTest Passes European Commission&#8217;s Review Successfully!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On July 18th in Brussels project partners presented <a href=\"http:\/\/www.elastest.io\">ElasTest<\/a> results and progress to a tribunal of three independent experts appointed by the European Commission and the EC Project Officer. The key project objective is to improve the efficiency of testing large-scale complex software systems.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The ElasTest project is coordinated by URJC. ZHAW&#8217;s ICCLab is a key project partner delivering research and technology in the area of service delivery, monitoring and billing.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The objective of this review was to evaluate the project progress and to show all technical evolution and of course check on the administrative coordination of the first 18 months. For assessing the project, the three reviewers analysed all the public and private information related to the project.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We had an 8 hours evaluation meeting and we were able to show the progress made in research, innovation, demos, exploitation plans, sustainability, and coordination issues of course were &nbsp;also presented. The most challenging part was to show the demonstration of the software developed by the different project partners: a one-hour session in which all the software artifacts were successfully demonstrated, including the ZHAW work. All of these efforts were welcomed by the reviewers.
