Smart Systems:
\nIn der Ausgabe vom 6. 11. stellt der \u201eEconomist\u201c die Entwicklung in Richtung von \u201eSmart Systems\u201c zur Debatte. U.a. wird festgestellt: \u201eThe real and the digital worlds are converging, thanks to a proliferation of connected sensors and cameras, ubiquitous wireless networks, communications standards and the activities of humans themselves. This convergence may not be instantly discernible, because it is happening in many places at once and is often not understood for what it is. It is most advanced in controlled environments\u201c.<\/p>\n

Diese Entwicklung verheisst f\u00fcr uns als Forschende eine Flut spannender Daten(str\u00f6me). Wissen wir, wie wir damit umgehen wollen resp. was wir mit diesen Daten anfangen? Setzen wir Erkenntnisse vor die Interessen des Datenschutzes? Wie setzen wir Erkenntisse ein um die \u201ereal world\u201c zu beeinflussen?<\/p>\n
