\"ETH<\/a>Mandated by the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI)<\/a>, ETH Zurich<\/a> is in charge of exploring and promoting scientific cooperation with key institutions in the Asia-Pacific region.<\/p>\n

This call offers seed money projects with scientific partner institutions of the following Asian countries:
\nAfghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, North Korea, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Vietnam.<\/b><\/p>\n

Available Instruments<\/strong>
\nSeed Funding for initiating larger joint activities.<\/p>\n

Eligibility<\/strong>
\nSenior scientists of universities, universities of applied sciences and universities of teachers‘ education as well as public research institutes in Switzerland in cooperation with a partner of one of the above mentioned countries.<\/p>\n

Funding<\/strong>
\nThe maximum grant sum for each individual project is CHF 10,000<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Deadline<\/strong>
\nSubmission deadline is 11 September 2015<\/strong>. The applications will be evaluated by a selection committee consisting of representatives of ETH Zurich, EPFL, University of Zurich and the Zurich University of Applied Sciences. Earliest start of projects is 1 December 2015.<\/p>\n
