\"\"<\/a>Within the clusters of pillar II, Horizon Europe incorporates Missions<\/a>\u00a0to increase the effectiveness of funding by pursuing clearly defined targets with a concrete impact on citizen\u2019s daily lives.<\/p>\n

The 5 defined Missions are related to\u00a0cancer<\/strong>,\u00a0carbon-neutral cities<\/strong>,\u00a0climate change<\/strong>,\u00a0oceans and waters<\/strong>, and\u00a0soil health<\/strong>. They are co-designed with citizens, stakeholders, the European Parliament and Member States. In September 2021 the EC officially launched the implementation plans for each Mission<\/a>. These explain the objectives for the next two years in detail.<\/p>\n
