Artificial intelligence is transforming the financial industry, from consulting and analysis to asset management. The MSc Banking & Finance at ZHAW not only imparts in-depth financial knowledge, but also expands on this with practical skills in the field of artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 2026, the new major Generative AI & AI Agents, led by Dr. Bledar Fazlija<\/a>, will complement the program. In 24 ECTS, students learn how intelligent agent systems and generative AI are used in the financial sector, from the basics to the development of their own solutions to practical applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AI is already an integral part of the program. The Capital Markets & Data Science major, led by Prof. Peter Schwendner<\/a>, combines financial markets with modern data analysis. With the optional NVIDIA Fundamentals of Deep Learning certificate, students have the opportunity to acquire key skills in the construction and application of neural networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The MSc Banking & Finance at ZHAW combines classical financial knowledge with state-of-the-art technologies and offers students the chance to position themselves at the forefront of the digital transformation of the financial industry. The ZHAW School of Management and Law and the MSc Banking & Finance are internationally accredited (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA). According to the Financial Times ranking, the MSc BF is among the top 100 finance master’s programs worldwide and ranks third in Switzerland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
